Our freshmen attended the Southwest Nebraska Career Fair in Holdrege today and learned about the importance of first impressions, college options, and met various career professionals from our area. It was wonderful exposure to job possibilities in all six career clusters!

On Wednesday, the 3rd grade class attended "Animals Inside Out" hosted by the Extension office. They learned SO much: the body systems of livestock, careers in Ag, by-products of animals, and so much more! They were most excited to stick their hand inside the cow!

Along with our Second Step social-emotional curriculum, students in grades K-6 will all be introduced to Zones of Regulation by the end of the year and will continue this learning next year. Zones is a fun, cognitive-behavioral approach to identifying and regulating emotions.
