Due to the forecasted ice storm, Elwood Public School will not be in session tomorrow, Monday January 2, 2023. The K-6 teacher training will be re-scheduled.
The last day of first semester was Friday, Dec 16. Elwood School will be on Christmas break from December 19th until Jan 2 for PK and 7-12. K-6 will be on break from Dec 19 until Jan 3rd. January 2nd will be a K-6 teacher training. No school for K-6 on January 2nd.

The Valley Voice is now providing a free e-edition of their newspaper to our students in grades 9-12. This is extremely generous of them and we are grateful for their ongoing support of students in our area. Thank you, Valley Voice!

The FCCLA students were excited to donate 33 snuggle bears to the Gosper County courthouse for the Santa Cop program this year. Many of the students spent their study hall and before school time working to create these and provide something to cuddle for others in need.

Our Foods class designed and built gingerbread creations for their final lab at the end of their Holiday Traditions Around the World unit. Lots of fun, learning, and imagination was found over the course of the last few days!

FCCLA is selling raffle tickets as a fundraiser to help fund their community service projects and costs of activites and competitions. Both quilts were generously donated to the program. Two names will be drawn January 13. First name drawn gets choice of quilts. $1/ticket or 6/$5
