The 3rd-6th graders held their annual Valentines Box competition today! There were so many creative boxes, it made it a pretty tough competition! Great job to all of the kiddos on their Valentines boxes! 👏🏻

At the Gosper County Spelling Bee yesterday, Kollan Pohl finished with a 3rd place medal, Brennan O'Hanlon got 2nd place, and Ben Morton was the Champion. Ben Morton is Elwood's first "Four-pete" winner, having won the Spelling Bee all four years he's been eligible! Ben is eligible to represent Gosper County and Elwood Public School at the State Spelling Bee in Omaha in March. Congratulations Ben!

Last call for buying raffle basket tickets to support the Summer Honors Program as the fundraiser ends on Sunday!

The Summer Honors Program (SHP) is an outstanding opportunity for 8th-12th graders in our area. There are 10 Elwood students who have been nominated and may attend this summer. SHP is doing a basket raffle to help fund meals and activities during the two-week summer program to keep tuition costs low for the students. SAVE THE DATE!!! National Honor Society Induction will again be a catered breakfast followed by induction of new members. It will be on the morning of April 2nd at 7:30 a.m. and will conclude at 8:30 a.m. Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors who are eligible will be receiving an email the first week of March.
