The Elwood FFA did a fantastic job presenting at the Nebraska Rural Community Schools Association (NRCSA) spring conference yesterday. They discussed their FFA Community engagement projects and their public forum project.

These students all competed at the Western Regional Science Fair in Curtis yesterday! There were about 70 students competing from several schools around the area, and we had 6 out of 16 students overall that were chosen to compete for the finals. Everyone did an amazing job!!

The Pirate Speech Team is at Districts in Litchfield today. Our district is small, so all events are going straight to finals. Stay tuned to see who we are taking to state! Go Pirates!

Our first reunification drill will be conducted on Thursday, March 7th. Student reunification and pick-up will occur starting at approximately 1:40 pm at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church on 704 Smith Avenue. Parents, remember that photo identification will be required as part of the drill. Contact Rhonda in the school office if you are unable to pick your children up from the drill; transportation will be provided at the drill's conclusion for children that can not be picked up.
Reminder: The Pirate Speech Public Performance is tonight at 7:00 in the music room. Come watch a few of our performances and help us get ready for Districts on Monday!

Today is the day! Today we celebrate Rare Disease Day and acknowledge the unique impact these diseases have on our students' and loved ones’ lives. Congratulations to both the Hi-Line boys' and girls' cross country teams for being recipients of the Nebraska Coaches Association Team Academic Excellence Awards. Boys were one of 17 & and the girls were one of 19 Class D teams to receive the honor in the state. #gobulls
