Class awards for the 2020 Elwood Science Fair:
6th Grade: 1st Jostin Grimm, 2nd Parker Schutz, 3rd Grady Schutz, 4th Connor Edwards, 5th Braxton Kohl.
5th Grade: 1st Kara Brockman, 2nd Karter Tilson, 3rd Julea Moore, 4th Destiny Parker, 5th Kyra Udstrand.
The Elwood Science Fair was Friday, January 10th. Students in grades 5-8 participated with a total of 54 projects. Best of Show went to Drew Knoerzer, 1st Runner-up went to Kara Brockman, and 2nd Runner-up went to Connor Edwards. Congratulations!

There will be a late start on Tuesday January 14th. Buses will run approximately two hours later than normal. No breakfast will be served that day.
Congratulations to the Elwood Speech team today who competed in Lexington. MaKayla Buell won a 5th place medal in Poetry, and Marissa McClung was recognized as a servant leader on the Elwood team. Congratulations! The Speech team's next meet is Broken Bow on 25 January.

Congratulations to longtime coach Kevin Mahlberg who has been elected to the Nebraska Eight Man Football Hall of Fame. He will be inducted June 20th at halftime of the eight man all star game in Hastings.
