Good morning. Welcome back!!!!! Please enter south doors. Enter parking lot from the EAST exit to the West. Two masks will be issued today or you may bring your own.
We are so excited to see everyone on Thursday. We will start the year by using the south doors. Bus drop off will be on the south side. Please enter the parking lot from the east and exit to the west. Students will need to be masked on the bus. Students will also need to be masked when on their feet (passing time, moving from one area to another, waiting in lunch line, etc). Students seated and socially distanced will be allowed to remove their mask. Students may bring their own mask and will be issued 2 masks.

NEWSPAPER CORRECTION: Notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the School Board of Gosper County School District 37-0030-000, a/k/a Elwood Public Schools, will be held at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, JULY 28, 2020 in the library at the schoolhouse, 502 First Ave, in Elwood, Ne. This meeting will be open to the public. An agenda for such meeting, kept continuously current, is available for public inspection at the office of the Superintendent. Elwood Public Schools is looking forward to beginning school this fall! Teachers will report August 11, 2020 and we will welcome students on August 13, 2020.
This year will most likely require flexibility with scheduling and changes to the previously made calendar. The district continues to work diligently to create re-opening plans that center around the safety of students and staff. These plans will be released the last week of July. Keeping the building and facilities clean and disinfected as well as incorporating social distancing when it is practical is a priority for the district. Please be assured that these measures are not being taken lightly.
Currently the NSAA has endorsed the idea of starting Fall sports as previously scheduled. Practices can officially begin on August 10, 2020. Coaches are allowed to have a conditioning period the week before official practices begin. We plan to offer those conditioning sessions.

Elwood Public Schools is looking for a cook/dishwasher. This position is roughly 35-40 hours per week from approximately 6 am to 1 pm Monday through Friday. This position will begin August 3, 2020.
