If you are going to the game today, the football field is on top of a hill. They have a limited number of handicapped spots located on top of the hill next to the field, however handicapped permits are required. They have a parking lot at base of the hill, another to the south of the school which is about a block away, and in the Lutheran church parking lot which is about 3 blocks southwest of the field. The purple areas on the attached map are the parking lots. The handicapped area is not marked but is past the west end zone. Street side parking is also available.
If you can't make it to the game today, it will be streamed at the following address...

The Two Rivers Health Department has notified area schools that the risk dial will be elevated into the “pandemic” or “red” level on October 29, 2020. Because schools have had very little school-based transmission of COVID19, Two Rivers is not recommending closure for any area schools. Elwood Public Schools will continue to collaborate with Two Rivers to ensure the continued safety of students and staff. Two Rivers is recommending that schools change their current School-Based Pandemic Plans to allow the continuance of face-to-face schooling during pandemic levels of risk. Some changes to Elwood’s Pandemic Plan during the pandemic risk level will include the performance of temperature checks on all staff and students twice daily. In addition, students participating in extracurricular activities will be temperature checked before practices. The wearing of masks will continue to be required at all times for anyone inside the building. This includes the wearing of masks during PE classes and recess. The district is currently working on protocols for winter NSAA activities. More information will be provided in the near future.

The 3rd grade class held a mock election this morning. We had students checking voter registration cards, helping sign in, collecting ballots and even handing out "I Voted" stickers. It was a great experience and they did an awesome job! Final results: Trump-82.5% Biden-17.5%
