September Teacher In-Service (Wednesday, September 13, 2023): The in-service was opened by Mr. Hatch who shared information on a number of items including: incentives for students with testing (MAPS, NCAS, etc.); open house in the spring, Rule 10 audit, Constitution Day Lessons and curriculum progress by teachers. Mr. Jones then addressed a number of items including: multicultural lessons, when observations would begin, grading and substitute shortage. Mrs, Crofton shared information on the upcoming Homecoming Week. Mr. Seberger addressed the faculty on SIP professional goals, committee assignments and reminders on our SIP five year goal. Mr. Seberger also distributed CPR masks for the staff and gave a demonstration. Our next meeting will be Wednesday, October 11, 2023.

Fall NSCAS testing: 3rd-6th grade students are testing September 18th-19th (one test per day). 7th-8th grade students are testing on September 19th (periods 1-4). We are excited to get fall testing wrapped up next week!

Our Intro classes prepared breakfast burritos this morning as a food lab after leanring about the Protein and Grains food groups in our Nutrition units! We practiced teamwork, following directions, and learned a quick recipe for a healthy breakfast option.

7th grade FCS has been busy! We finished our kitchen safety unit by making mini pizzas! not only was it a fun treat after maps testing, but they all did great jobs with teamwork and kitchen safety in their kitchens!
