Mrs. Crofton will be taking all sophomores and juniors to Youth Science Day on Thursday, We are leaving at 7:30 a.m. and returning at 2:30 p.m. There will be 147 students attending from area schools. Lunch will be provided.

Jim & Sharri Baldonado, Megan & Penelope Bellamy and Kylie Dockter, Executive Director of the Team Jack Foundation, spoke to the students and staff of Elwood Public Schools Tuesday where they gave a brief history of the foundation’s mission. Elwood Public Schools would like to be a part of that mission through Pirate Pride Presents Pennies for a Purpose. The students and staff are collecting pennies (and other coins and currency) to make their own contribution to this cause. This contribution is about the joys of giving and helping others in need. Although we are not focusing on raising a specific amount, if you would like to contribute to this cause please feel free to. More information will be shared throughout the upcoming weeks. Keep your eyes peeled for more Pirate Pride posts and pictures.
