High School Quiz Bowl tryouts will be held in Mr. Seberger's room on Friday, 16 September, at 7:45 am. We need to fill 5 spots and 2 alternate spots. 9-12th graders are eligible.

A couple of opportunities to help us put in an adaptive playground to benefit all our students. The first is a tailgate Friday night at the Arcadia/Loup City football game. There will be a meal of either a hamburger or hot dog, chips, a drink a dessert for a $5 minimum donation.
Apparently some area schools have had reports from their patrons about getting robocalls that sound like they are from a staff member demanding payments for PowerSchool and threatening them with a visit from a collection agency.
If you receive a robocall demanding money and making collection agency threats, ignore it. Our lunch program does make a robocall telling you if you have a negative balance but will not demand payment. If the need arises you may receive a personal phone call from the school asking for payment but we will not threaten you with a collection agency.
Scammers are everywhere, calling, sending fake emails, pasting bogus links on Facebook posts. Be aware and careful and never share personal information especially if you have any reason to question the validity of the source.
Financial Aid Night is tomorrow, Sept. 13th at 6:30 p.m. in the distance learning room for seniors and their families. This will be especially helpful for families who haven't filled out the FAFSA before. Please contact Ms. Deaver with any questions!
