The 1st graders just finished their butterfly unit! They watched as the caterpillars became chrysalises, moved them to the netted habitat, and got to see them become butterflies one by one. It was so neat to watch the kids cheer them on as they flew away!
The freshmen and sophomores explored a variety of careers today. They toured Hy-Vee, UNK, and Orthmans. A few common themes from the day were to pay attention to detail and to take every work experience and learn from it.

The FCS room finished our quarter with some fun sewing projects! The 7th graders practiced using their handstitching skills to makeini Emoji pillows and the Child Development students made infant tag blankets that stimulate development through texture, comfort, and play!
