Elwood TeamMates Night is tomorrow, Jan. 13th during the basketball games vs. Arapahoe! Mentors and mentees will get in for free. We will recognize our mentors/mentees during halftime of the girls varsity game and do our chuck-a-duck fundraiser during halftime of boys varsity!

January Teacher In-Service:
The in-service was opened by Mr. Hatch who shared information about the January Board meeting, and the newly elected officers of the Board. Mrs. Dean talked briefly about the Quiz Bowl event held in Elwood in the morning of 1/11/23, and the educators’ professional goals will be completed during our February in-service.
Mr. Seberger passed out Writing Prompts for specific classes, and stated that they will be due and scored in February.
The Spelling Bee will be on the 7th of February. Grades 5-8 will send their top 4 students to the Gosper County Spelling Bee.
The calendar for next year was approved in December. Our next meeting will be Wednesday, Feb 15, 2023.
Congratulations to the Junior High Quiz Bowl team for going 5-2 and finishing 3rd at the Elwood Quiz Bowl. They will compete again on February 9th in Bertrand.
