Summer weights will begin on May 30th at 630 AM for all incoming 9th-12th grade students. We will lift Monday-Thursday every week until school starts. Open gym will follow weights until 830 Monday-Wednesday. Make plans to be in attendance all summer.

My goal is to introduce speed and agility as well as build on basic strength through bodyweight exercises as well as light weight exercises to prepare them for high school. The 5th graders celebrated meeting their AR goals with a pizza party today! These kiddos did a great job of reading and meeting their goals throughout this school year! 👏🏻🎉

Driver Education will be starting at Elwood HS on Monday, June 18, 2023 at 8:00 AM.
The 3rd grade class held their Wax Museum on Friday. Putting on the Wax Museum was a great way to share what they spent so much time researching and writing about! They did a great job!

Teacher Appreciation Week was this week so we want to send a big "thank you" to all of our staff who play a role in educating students! Teachers do much more than teach and we are thankful for the impact they have on our students!

We would like to wish these three the best of luck at the State JH Track Meet tomorrow in Gothenburg. Congrats to all of you on your hard work and accomplishments this season. Kane Cochrane: High Jump; Ella Koch: Pole Vault; Gage Rupp: 800m Run. Kane & Ella will compete at 11 AM. Gage will run around 4 PM

Times are for the beginning of the event. Order is Class D Girls, C Girls, then D Boys and C Boys.
State Track Update: In addition to Ryker and Isaiah, Asher Hecox makes it to state as an additional qualifier in the 100M dash and the boys 4x100 does qualify as well. Congratulations!!!
In the last 2 weeks, the 9th and 10th grades completed their Hands-Only CPR training. This is a state-wide program to teach high school students how to do proper compressions and use the AED in a sudden cardiac emergency until emergency personnel arrive.



Elementary Field Day will be held as scheduled. Start time is 11:30 am today.
Congratulations to Ryker Evans and Isaiah Bullis who qualified for the state track meet next weekend. Ryker qualified in the 100 and 200 and Isaiah in the 200. Still waiting for other results as the boys 4x100 may also make it to Omaha!
