The Pirate Speech Team is at Districts in Litchfield today. Our district is small, so all events are going straight to finals. Stay tuned to see who we are taking to state! Go Pirates!

Our first reunification drill will be conducted on Thursday, March 7th. Student reunification and pick-up will occur starting at approximately 1:40 pm at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church on 704 Smith Avenue. Parents, remember that photo identification will be required as part of the drill. Contact Rhonda in the school office if you are unable to pick your children up from the drill; transportation will be provided at the drill's conclusion for children that can not be picked up.
This week, the elementary students will be celebrating Read Across America Week! We will be having dress up days each day for the students to participate in to celebrate and promote reading! 📚

Today is the day! Today we celebrate Rare Disease Day and acknowledge the unique impact these diseases have on our students' and loved ones’ lives. We are wrapping up our final day of the Pirates Providing Hope campaign. Thank you so much for participating, donating, encouraging, and providing your support. What an amazing community we are a part of!

Congratulations to both the Hi-Line boys' and girls' cross country teams for being recipients of the Nebraska Coaches Association Team Academic Excellence Awards. Boys were one of 17 & and the girls were one of 19 Class D teams to receive the honor in the state. #gobulls

Trap Shooting: There will be a meeting on Sunday, February 25th @ 2 pm at the Izaak Walton League building south of Arapahoe. Students in grades 7-12 that are interested in Trap Shooting this spring are invited to attend this meeting. Students unable to attend this meeting are invited to contact Shannon Bennet at (308) 325-4506.
“The smile of a child is the heart’s sunshine, transforming moments into memories.” February 15, 2024 provided an opportunity for Elwood’s four students involved in Pirates Providing Hope to go to UNL for the day.
