We had another great day at the Track Meet in Bertrand. Lots of teams and good competitors. Boys came away as Runner-Up. Gage Rupp won the 800 and the boys broke the 4 minute mark in the 4x4 while setting the meet record at 3:58.54. A lot of good things from the JH Hi-Line Track Team!

Foods class enjoyed preparing beef using different cooking methods and comparing the results as the completion of their cooking methods unit.
Matt Mason, the Nebraska State Poet, will be visiting our school tomorrow, Thursday, 25 April. His visit is being funded by Humanities Nebraska, the Nebraska Cultural Endowment, and the State of Nebraska. An assembly in the gym will begin at 3 pm, and it is open to the public.

The 5th graders went to the Water Jamboree at the Harlan County Reservoir today! They learned all about water, irrigation, hydropower, and forest buffers! They even got to launch water rockets and loved playing with bubbles!
