The 5th graders took on the roles of different engineers in our Science lesson to try and save a town from hurricane damage. They created their own companies and had a budget of $1 million to build levees, sea walls, stilts, and wetlands to save as many historical buildings in their town as possible. It was a successful project as they were all able to save their town and stayed within their budget! Great job, kiddos! 👏🏻
