Gosper County Spelling Bee will be held in the gym at 4 pm this Thursday, 25 February. Open to parents of spellers. Spellers eligible to compete: Alex Jauken, Christdolyn Hagan, Kylee Kubert, Ali Jayne, Kara Brockman, Adrianna Seberger, Karter Tilson, Julea Moore, Brody Diefenbaugh, Jostin Grimm, Braxton Kohl, Simon Scharf, Steven Duran, Jaci Muegerl, Gavin Tilson, and Katelyn Montey.
The Elwood Speech Team will have a Speech Showcase on Monday, March 1 at 7 p.m. The public is invited to hear our speeches. Come support our speech team and help us prepare for district competition, our first in-person meet this season. Masks are required at this event.
No better way to celebrate Kindness Week than to start our "Friend of the Week" again! This week's Friend is Sofia! She was nominated for helping a friend when they got hit with a ball! Sometimes we just need someone to make us feel better! Great work, Sofia!

Conner Schutz pinned Hunter Arehart of Ansley/Litchfield in 3:36 and will be wrestling for the 170LB championship tonight. The finals will be carried live starting at 7:00 on Nebraska Educational Television.
