Thank you to all of our community members this year and in the past who have donated items for our newly organized giving closet. We have a wonderful stockpile of items to offer students in need!
January's Teacher's In-Service included the following activities: Teachers first were asked to assess their use of writing assignments and how they implemented a "Write Tool" in their classroom. Teachers were also assigned to present to the steering committee two or three student samples of implementation of "Write Tool" reflection and a few examples of a writing assignment they have done in their class. These assignments are due to the committee by the end of the month. Language Arts teachers were also asked to finish writing prompt assignments from students to be assessed by the staff during the February In-Service.
