Parents, students, staff and patrons:
Today is the end of the 2020-2021 school year. What a year it has been! I want to thank you all for your hard work and commitment to face-to-face instruction this entire year. Our number one goal was to keep the doors open and we achieved that goal with flying colors! However, we must all understand that accomplishing this goal was not easy. It took courage, commitment, and a lot of extra work. I am so grateful to have been in a community and state that allowed us the opportunity to work together and devise solutions that fit the specific needs of our patrons and students. The fact that we were also able to have students participate in activities is also highly impressive. These activities may have looked different, but they were available for the students, and for that we should be grateful.
This year will certainly be long remembered for the numerous changes, extensive protocols, and uncertainty. I want to thank you all for your continued commitment to the education of the students at Elwood Public Schools. I am proud of what we accomplished this year, and proud to be a member of this exceptional community.
Respectfully,
Daren L. Hatch

These items will be available for viewing and bidding from 1 pm to 3 pm on Monday, May 24th at the Elwood School bus barn. The bus barn is located at 102 Smith Ave. Winning bidders will be notified and items must be moved by Thursday, May 27th.

The Elwood Public School app is now version 2.0! You will notice a very different look but all the same information is there. One thing you will probably have to do is go into the settings are re-select if you want to receive push notifications from Elwood Public School, Hi-Line Bulls or both. The graphic explains how to do this. If you haven't downloaded the app before this would be a great time to get it and stay connected wherever you are.

School will be dismissed at 2:00 on May 18th and 19th due to final exams.

More good news from yesterday. Kody Keller has made it to state as an additional qualifier in the 100. He will run the prelims on Friday May 21 at around 11:20. Finals would be on Saturday at 11:20. Congratulations Kody!
