The Elwood Library Book Character Contest has returned!!! Student may bring their pumpkins starting next Monday. The contest will end next Friday and pumpkins should be taken home then. Information on the contest was sent home, any questions on the contest please contact Mr. Ropers at the school. Attached is the information to the contest if needed.

HSCC: Hi-Line @ NSAA State Championships (@ Kearney Country Club, Kearney) Friday, October 24th, 2025 start with Class D Girls at 12:00 PM (Olivia Wall runs at this time). Class D Boys at 1:00 PM (Connor Edwards runs at this time). Admission: $7.00 for Students and $10.00 for Adults. There will be no school this Friday, October 24th because of fall break. A reminder that on Thursday, October 23rd, we will hold our re-unification drill located at the Lutheran church in Elwood. All students will need picked up by 2:30 on Thursday.

Parents & guardians: Our reunification drill is TOMORROW, October 23rd. Please see the letter for more info. You will be able to start picking your kids up from our reunification site, the Lutheran Church at 704 Smith Ave, around 1:30 pm.

IMPORTANT! If you plan to have someone other than the parent/guardian pick up your kids, please call the school. We also need to know if your kids need to ride the bus home like usual at the conclusion of the drill.
