FFA stands for Future Farmers of America. This organization is not just for producing corn or beans; it is for people in livestock, plant and animal science, agricultural technologies, and much more, like leadership career development.
“Our Chapter could have a great competition in events,” said Maggie Louthan, Elwood FFA advisor. Elwood FFA students compete in events like Quiz Bowl, Agribusiness, and much more.
The Elwood FFA Chapter has launched a new project called FFA Buddies, where the main goal is to educate younger students about agriculture and get the community involved in the chapter. Since this is a new program, keep your eyes peeled for more information about it and any other new events in FFA.
