So it’s finally here, the new Elwood Public Schools website. What will you find here? Well you’ll find all the information on from the old website (alumni info will be reposted soon) but much more.
One new thing of interest is the live feed. With this we can provide score updates from sporting events and quicker notification of any other events going on that our students are involved in.
Probably the nicest new piece is the Elwood Public School app which is available both in the App Store on Apple products and on the Google Play store for other devices. This app provides links to the most important info you’re generally going to look for, the live feed, calendar of events, news stories, athletic schedules and the lunch menu. Downloading and installing the app will also let you receive push notifications about upcoming events or weather related changes to our schedule. While this information will be available though the normal channels or sites you might visit, this quick notification is handy to alert you to happenings you might be interested and then you can look on our website or other social media outlets for further details.
