Putter late than never. Golf season is in motion once again. This year’s Hi-Line golf team members are Riley Rushton, Julian Seberger, Alayna Moore, Jake Klotz, Shannon Kennicutt, Emily Winter, Marissa McClung, Gracie Rushton, Kaden Nickell, and Kade Schmidt. Student managers for the team are: Gavin Tilson, Aniston Peterson, and Judah Neimeier.
Dennis Seberger, Elwood golf coach, says his favorite thing about coaching golf is the diversity of the group between the beginners and the players who have been playing the longest.
“I would tell new golfers not to be afraid to try. No one is born a good golfer; it takes practice. However, if you stick with it long enough to gain a basic love for the game, it is a game that you can play for the rest of your life,” Coach Seberger advises new golfers and anyone wanting to join the golf team.
