Gutierrez Reflects on Senior Year

Senior Matteya Gutierrez recently took a few minutes to reflect on her time at Elwood High School.
“My favorite part of high school has been getting to know all my classmates and being involved in organizations such as YELP, The Stampede, Speech, and One-Act.” Matteya plans to attend UNL for Veterinary Medicine. She says she is looking forward to college because she is excited about going to a bigger city and meeting new people. When asked about her advice for younger students, she said, “Stay on top of your grades and always pay attention in class.”
