On September 16th, the Elwood Animal Science class ventured to Husker Harvest Days in Grand Island. Husker Harvest Days was a fun and interesting experience that gave students the opportunity to learn more about the agriculture industry. There were many different things to see, and the students learned that agriculture involves much more than just farming. The event had many vendors, equipment, businesses, and career opportunities that showed how connected everything in agriculture really is.

One of the most interesting things students saw was the giant drones that are used for crop spraying and fertilizer application. It was really cool to see how technology is being used in agriculture and how these drones can help farmers with their work. The students also got to experience some new things including trying sweet corn ice cream and seeing the cameras inside army vehicles.

Overall, Husker Harvest Days was an enjoyable and educational experience. It showed students how technology, businesses, and different careers all come together to support the agriculture industry.
