The Hi-Line football team has faced some challenges during the first half of the season, but the players have continued to work hard and stay together. After a big win over Sutherland on September 17th, the team is looking to carry that momentum into the last few games of their season. Coach Ropers mentioned that their ability to stick together was especially noticeable during the Sutherland game. “The players stuck together and really played as one to help get us a victory,” he said. Even though the team has improved, there are still things they need to work on. Coach Ropers mentioned that the team needs to get tougher up front and do a better job controlling the line of scrimmage. He also said the team needs to stay disciplined late in drives and finish drives by scoring points. The team has not reached all of their goals yet. After some setbacks during the first few games, the team will need to make up for them during the final games of the season. The team plans to continue working together and improve as the season continues!
