Yadira ‘Esme’ Molina is a new student at Elwood High School, coming here during her senior year. Though new to the school, she has had her fair share of experiences from her time spent at Elwood High.
Molina shared that one of her favorite experiences while here was making a clay spoon in her ceramics class. Her favorite classes were English with Mr. Seberger, and her social studies class with Mr. Edgecombe.
Molina said she looks forward to making her own money after graduation and taking charge of her life. She also said she looks forward to being a “good and peaceful person.”
Molina said that what she will miss most about high school is “the good community this school has.” Some advice for underclassmen was, “You can start over, start late, lose it all, fail and fail again, but you'll still succeed.”
After graduation Molina looks forward to “exploring and learning in life.” She says she is very excited to do so.
