   Elwood FFA has had a successful season, with many members of the chapter qualifying for state. This year’s state FFA state qualifiers are Alayna Moore: State Degree, Ag Issues, Ag Sales, and Natural Resources Speaking; Brody Diefenbaugh: Ag Issues and Agriscience; Bryce Reiners: Nursery/Landscape and Natural Resources; Connor Edwards: Agriscience, Delaney Collins: FFA State Choir and Ag Issues; Elijah Niemeier: State FFA Degree and Farm Business Management; Allie Lauby: Nursery Landscape; Hudson Weeder: Nursery/Landscape, Ag Sales, and Ag Issues; Judah Niemeier: Ag Issues; Kaden Clouse: State FFA Degree and Natural Resources CDE; Nate Redwine: State FFA Degree and Farm Business Management; Parker Schutz: Farm Business Management; Noah Rand: Agriscience; Ryker Evans: Nursery/Landscape, Aidan Shutts: Ag Sales, Drew Knoerzer: Vegetable Production Proficiency and Ag Sales; Whitney Dickau: State FFA Degree and Natural Resources CDE; Wryston Brell: Farm Business Management; Zoey Evans: State FFA Degree, Ag Sales, and Natural Resources CDE; Kara Brockman: Agriscience Fair and Ag Quiz bowl; Hailey Edwards: Agriscience Fair and Ag Quiz bowl; Karter Tilson: Ag Quiz Bowl; Julea Moore: Ag Quiz Bowl; and RiLee Schutz: Ag Quiz Bowl. The state contest will be held on March 29-31 in Lincoln.

     The state champion in each event will advance to the national competition. The Nebraska State Degree is the highest award that you can receive at the state level. It is given to high school students who have participated in over 50 FFA activities, 15 above the chapter level, and participated in over 25 hours of community service. At state FFA students will also participate in workshops, leadership assemblies, and industry tours.
