The Hi-Line Bulls track season is underway! The Bulls have a new head coach this year, Steve Johnson. There are 33 girls and boys going out for track this year. When asked about the toughest part of this season Johnson replied, “The toughest challenge will be getting good weather. With better weather we will have much better practices to improve.”
“Our biggest strength this year is that we have a lot of depth in every event. We have good numbers this year which I think will create a very successful track team,” said Johnson. When asked about what goals he has for his team this year he replied with, “We want to qualify as many people as possible for the state track meet in Omaha and to get everyone on the team to letter.” Johnson also had some words of encouragement for his track team: “Just go out and compete everyday because you may not be the fastest, but, if you work and show improvement, you will make yourself and everyone around you better.”
