STANDARD RESPONSE PROTOCOL
Elwood Public Schools is in the process of adopting Standard Response Protocol (SRP) as of November 2023. SRP is a protocol for uniform, planned, and practiced responses by the “I Love U Guys” Foundation that can be initiated for any emergency that may affect our school.
Our staff has been trained on SRP, and we are in the beginning phases of educating our students about SRP. This flyer lists the five we may utilize in the event of an emergency. The second page of the SRP flyer is especially helpful for parents and guardians as it goes into further detail about the "secure" and "lockdown" actions.
